RunSac Race Series Milestone Program
The RunSac Race Series Milestone Program is FREE to participants, providing an opportunity for runners to challenge themselves and earn great rewards.It’s FREE and easy to participate. Sign up for the RunSac Race Series and then enter and complete any of the 10 series races and your miles are automatically tracked.*NOTE: Participants must register themselves for each individual event in which they wish to participate.
- Level 1 – 40 miles (minimum 4 events): RunSac shirt
- Level 2 – 60 miles (minimum 5 events): RunSac bag
- Level 3 – 80 miles OR complete any 8 events: RunSac jacket
- Super Challenge – 100 miles: ‘100 Mile Club’ embroidered jacket
- Register for the RunSac Race Series by May 1st to be eligible for rewards.
- Use the SAME NAME for all registrations. Variations will not be scored.
- Runners get credit for all events run after registering; miles are retroactive.
- Only events within the same calendar year count.

Run Club “Mileage Showdown” for Charity
Optional team-based challenge
Team up with your Run Club and make your miles mean something! When you register for the Milestone Program, you can add your Run Club affiliation—or update it later. If your club name isn’t listed during registration, simply email us and we’ll add it.
Teamwork for Good!
Every mile run in the Run Club “Mileage Showdown” will earn money for your Run Club’s chosen community charity, and additional bonus charity donations will be made to the Run Clubs that run the most total miles.
Run Club “Mileage Showdown” Rules
- Clubs must have at least 6 members signed up to be part of the “Mileage Showdown”
- Runners’ miles will not count towards Club totals until they have completed at least 4 events on the series
- Clubs will begin earning donations for their charity once they accumulate a minimum 200 total miles
- Deadline to add/change club affiliation is September 1st.
RunSac CIM Entry Program
Optional benefit for highly engaged local runners
Separate from milestone rewards, the RunSac CIM Entry Program provides an entry-access benefit for runners who actively participate in the RunSac Race Series and local run clubs.
As demand for the California International Marathon (CIM) grows, the RunSac Entry Program recognizes Sacramento’s most engaged local runners whose year-round participation helps strengthen our local running community. RunSac Race Series participants who complete a designated number of RunSac Race Series events will earn priority access to a reserved “Blue Level” CIM entry—even after general registration has sold out—providing a protected pathway to participate in CIM for our most engaged Sacramento-area runners. How the RunSac CIM Entry Program Works:
- Runners who run a minimum 5 events on the RunSac Race Series events are eligible for priority CIM marathon entry access at the “Blue Level” entry price.
- Urban Cow Half Marathon serves as the final opportunity to complete the five-event requirement
- All qualifying events must be completed within the same calendar year
- To qualify for the RunSac Entry Program, runners must:
- Be registered for the RunSac Race Series
- Must be listed as a member of a local running club or group
- Complete at least 5 distinct* RunSac Race Series events (*multiple races at the same event can’t be used towards count)
- All 5 events must be completed before the end of September (Ie Urban Cow is final eligible event)
- Participation is tracked automatically through the RunSac Race Series system.
